Ann writes character-driven stories centered around connection, discovery, and the quiet moments that shape our lives.
A lifelong creative, she found a renewed sense of storytelling during her breast cancer journey, a time that opened the door to new forms of expression, from painting to writing.
What began as ideas that wouldn’t let go grew into stories waiting to be told.
She hopes her work encourages others to embrace their own creativity and allow their stories to unfold in their own time.
Autumn in Charleston is her debut novel.
I write as Ann Morrison because it's a tribute to the women and the legacy of my family. 'Ann' is for my daughter and my paternal grandmother, and 'Morrison' is for my maternal side. It felt like the right way to bring my whole family along on this journey.
